Santa Chiara – The Glass Cathedral is a restored medieval church and cultural venue on the island of Murano. Originally a 13th-century monastery church, it now serves as an event venue and center for Murano glass artistry.

Accommodation
For those wishing to stay closest to the venue, Murano Island has a small selection of hotels within walking distance. Please note we do not have preferential rates and availability operates on a first come first serve basis.

There are additional hotels on the mainland in Venice. Delegates, vendors and speakers are welcome to book either side. Do be aware that staying on the mainland adds approximately 25 minutes travel time each way by boat.
Boats run regularly and operate similarly to taxis. If staying on the mainland, we recommend purchasing either a 1-day pass (approx. 25 EUR) or 3-day pass (approx. 45 EUR). Stride (MarketKey) will not be liable for any travel or ticket costs unless agreed with us in advance.
Availability
Two of the main hotels closest to the venue are already fully booked. We recommend arranging accommodation early as rooms on Murano Island are limited.
